Clayton beats Kadar 6-3 and Wales stays alive in Budapest

Jonny Clayton carried Wales alone into Budapest on Saturday night and carried it through to Sunday. Clayton beat the Hungarian Laszlo Kadar 6-3 in the second round of the Hungarian Darts Trophy at the MVM Dome, ending the run of a qualifier who had stunned Daryl Gurney 6-5 on Friday night in front of a home crowd.

Neither Gerwyn Price nor Nick Kenny made the field, so Clayton's win keeps the sole Welsh interest going into Sunday's third round. Coverage remains on PDC TV for subscribers, with scores on the PDC Europe channels.
