Sunday lunch at the Clytha Arms — two sittings, garden first if it’s dry

The country pub between Newport and Abergavenny. Garden first on a dry day. Rooms if you are not driving.

Yorkshire puddings and gravy

The Clytha Arms does not pretend to be a secret. It is just far enough off the A40 that people from Newport still treat it as a destination. Sunday lunch is two sittings; the 2pm is the one that still had space when we checked Wednesday.
