Chapter Two opens on Stow Hill: second-hand books in a former vape shop

Chapter Two opened on Stow Hill on Monday. Second-hand, a kettle, and a window seat that was taken at 11am on a Tuesday. The unit had been empty, then a vape shop, then empty again. This is the High Street story we will actually file: someone put books in it, and people came.

Hours for now: Tuesday–Saturday 10–5. No café, no ‘community hub’ signage, no grant launch with a ribbon. A shop. If you have a box of paperbacks, they will talk to you. Independent Awards nominations are open if you were wondering what to send.
