Gwent Police: shop theft up in Newport and Chepstow, burglary down, 40 blade offences

Gwent Police’s last quarter: shop theft up, almost all of the extra in Newport centre and Chepstow High Street. Burglary in Torfaen and Blaenau Gwent is down. Possession of a blade: 40 recorded offences in the quarter. That is not nothing. It is also not a town on fire.
