Croesyceiliog oversubscribed again — 38 children in the overflow pool

Torfaen’s admissions team will send secondary offers on 3 September. Croesyceiliog is oversubscribed for the third year. Thirty-eight first-preference applications sit outside the catchment line drawn in 2024. West Mon and Cwmbran High still have places.

Parents who live on the St Dials / Old Cwmbran edge of the line have been told to appeal on distance, not sibling. The council said a permanent expansion is in the capital programme but not for this intake.
